This request for quotes (RFQ) is submitted and available to qualified vendors for materials and installation of a retaining wall at Charleston Elementary School. Specifications o Estimate: 166' x Average 3.5" tall (591 sq ft) o Proper permits must be pulled by awarded contractor. o Engineered Drawing o Demolition and removal of current wall required. o Anticipated Materials: o 60 tons crusher run for base (24" wide x 8" deep) o 13 Pallets Wall Block (144 block gravity system acme brick and block) o 120 Top Caps + adhesive o 2 Rolls perforated corrugate (100') o Drains o 180 tons #57 clean stone for drainage behind wall o Geogrid In making the award, the Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Board also reserves the right to consider factors other than the lowest price submitted. Bidders agree, by their signature appearing on the bid form, to the Board's right to be the final judge in the award of this bid. Any bid which does not comply with the bidding conditions and specifications shall be considered unacceptable. The Bradley County Board of Education reserves the right to use judgement factors in determining which proposal shall be in its best interest, and exercise of that judgement shall be binding upon all companies submitting bids.
