The proposed contract is for the removal of all eastern red cedar of any size, as well as the removal of all other tree species with a diameter at breast height (dbh) of 10 inches or less (excluding oak species - those will not be cut) through mastication to improve wildlife habitat on the Heyburn Wildlife Management Area in Creek County. See attached map for the project area. Operator will not be compensated for travel time, maintenance, or personal items such as meals, phone calls, breaks, etc. At completion of the work, an agency representative will conduct a final inspection with the operator. Operator has 90 days to complete work upon starting and ALL work must be completed by June 30, 2024. Operator will not be able work on the following dates due to peak usage period but can leave equipment on site. Dates: October 21-23; October 28-November 5; and November 18-December 3.
