In general, the work on this project consists of demolition of the Temporary Pump 1-4 in pump building #1, at the Little Ferry Treatment Plant. Demolition shall include the removal of all equipment and piping from the isolation knife gate valve (valve to remain) in the dry well, to the discharge knife gate on the motor room level. The knife gate in the motor room to remain in place until all piping and equipment is removed to prevent backflow from the discharge channel. Once all the equipment and piping is removed, reinstall the flanged 90 degree elbow (sitting adjacent ñ see first photo in Appendix A) Note: BCUA operations staff will lower the discharge channel to facilitate the elbow reinstallation. The elbow installation work may need to be performed in the early AM (3-6 AM). I have removed the requested non-segregation certification which is not required. This is a clarification
