The Contractor shall provide all labor and materials for the exterior painting requirement identified below. Any work related to the requirement described herein shall be coordinated with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The Contractors place of business shall be located within a 50-mile radius of the place of performance. To Paint Site Buildings at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS), 1300 Eisele Road, Fairbanks Alaska 99712. The Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) is a 24-7 satellite tracking station operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in support of NOAA environmental monitoring spacecraft. This is a requirement to paint the exterior of seven (7) buildings at the FCDAS site. The Government anticipates a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. This procurement will utilize North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 238320 - Painting and Wall covering Contractors. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. Place of Performance: Department of Commerce (DOC), NOAA/FCDA STATION 1300 Eisele Road, Fairbanks, Alaska 99712 Radius Requirement: The Contractor's place of business shall be located within a 50-mile radius of the place of performance. Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction: Pursuant to FAR 36.204(c), the magnitude of this requirement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. . This notification, as well as any request for deviation of any term or condition provided herein, and questions concerning this RFQ, shall be submitted no later than: 3:00 PM EST on Friday, August 4, 2023 to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer via email and shall reference the RFQ number and the applicable attachment and/or section in question. Site Visit Attendance Instructions: Contractors interested in attending the site visit must identify their interest by E-mailing their request to Ms. Callie Zuppas callie.zuppas@noaa.gov and Ms. Andrea Chiodi at andrea.chiodi@noaa.gov. Contractors must submit their requests by Monday, August 7, 2023 1:00 PM EST. Contractors requests must include the names of the participants, no more than three (3) participants per interested contractor. The Contract Specialist will return an RSVP confirmation email with the policies and/or procedure for access to the site. Only the individuals included in your confirmed RSVP will be granted access to the site. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
