Invitation for Bids (IFB): North Washington Street and Columbia Street Intersection Improvements. In the event of conflict between any specific information posted on this webpage and the specific information in the attached RFP/IFB documents (including addenda), or the information or documents on any other web page, the information in the RFP/IFB documents on this webpage shall take precedence. ALL INQUIRIES including questions and prebid meeting requests shall be made in writing and forwarded to the City's Purchasing Agent, via email to jwise@fallschurchva.gov with copies to ylee@fallschurchva.gov and purchasing@fallschurchva.gov by no later than five (5) business days prior to the Bid due date Wednesday, August 30, 2023 by @ 3:00 P.M. The Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond (a certified check upon a solvent bank or trust company), made payable to the order of "The City of Falls Church," or cash escrow in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total bid price submitted. If so required by the City, the Contractor shall furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds in sums equal to the amount of the purchase order per contract requirements.
