The vendor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, supplies, freight/shipping of materials and supplies, equipment (including but not limited to all welding machines, ladders, hot tap machine, plasma cutter, mag drill, all power and hand tools related to the trade, and confined space equipment, etc.) as required to perform proposed work at no cost to City. Welding Labor Rates shall include the cost of welding equipment and welding consumables. Fabrication and Machining labor rates shall include shop equipment, hand tools, and consumables. Services to Include, but not limited to: Structural Steel Piping Light gauge metals Stainless steel Aluminum Miscellaneous welding and fabrication of materials The City of Dayton, is requesting Invitation For Bids (IFB) for highly experienced and professional firms to provide welding, fabrication, and machining services on a time and materials basis for the Department of Water, Division of Water Reclamation. This specification is for the maintenance and/or repair of Water Reclamation Facility treatment process equipment and other associated equipment located at 2800 Guthrie Rd, Dayton OH 45417 All work shall be completed within a reasonable schedule established by the City and vendor. The work shall be performed in a professional manner, subject to approval and acceptance by the City's Department of Water, Division of Water Reclamation. The vendor shall complete work in accordance with the specifications and all workmanship and new materials shall be satisfactory and guaranteed for not less than one (1) year from the date of either completion of work or delivery of a fabricated part. All measurements and areas involved in each proposal shall be verified and defined in writing by the vendor before any work has begun. It is essential that the selected bidder be able to provide onsite welding and fabrication services. Machining can be performed offsite. All work shall be in accordance with American Welding Society (AWS)standards and industry best practices. WARRANTY AND GUARANTEES: Bidder shall include all manufacturers' warranty information, material quality assurance, and workmanship warranty with bid response. To establish a firm Price Agreement for Welding, Fabricating and Machining Services with firm pricing through August 31, 2024 with a possible option to renew, at the City of Dayton's discretion, firm pricing for four (4) additional 12-month periods from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2028.
