Bidder shall provide cost to furnish the asphalt mix complete laid in place for resurfacing, including all materials, milling, paving and compaction equipment, labor, supervision and trucking. Roadways to be resurfaced is as follows: 1) Project A: Mt. Zion Road, Rockeast Road to Harmony Road 2) Project B: Mallory Road, Starnes Road to end of county maintenance (Owen Co) All Bids must be accompanied by (1) certified check, or (2) a bid bond payable to the Monroe County Treasurer, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The certified checks and bonds of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them upon award of the contract to the successful bidder. All bids must include Contractors Bid for Public Work - Form 96. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, or portion of the Bid, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding. All bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days, or as otherwise stated in the Contract Documents before awarding the contract. All out-of-state corporations must have a certificate of authority to do business in the State. All bidders shall comply with Chapter 275 of the Monroe County Code, the Responsible Bidder Ordinance.
