Reference Number 0000326763 The 2023 Speed Cushion Installation Services consists of constructing sixty-four (64) speed cushions at nineteen (19) locations throughout the City and installation of new speed cushions on ten (10) roadways. The contract shall include the construction of an additional sixteen (16) standard speed cushions with locations to be determined during the contract construction phase these are referred to as "on-call" in the bid item tabulation. All work performed for speed cushions with signage and roadway markings shall be in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and City of Aurora standards. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % The Contract Documents require that all work be completed within three (3) calendar months, plus ten (10) calendar days for mobilization; after issuance of notice to proceed. Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $200.00 per day.
