A brief description of the required work is as follows: Resurface approximately 1.0 miles of bike trail from Long Drive to Felumlee Road on Panhandle Bike Trail (Nashport, OH). Mill plane 196 SY uneven surface to a depth of 1.0. Install butt joints at adjacent surface to provide smooth transition. Clean and prepare existing surface (6,053 SY). Install SS1 tack course to promote adhesion.Install 1.5 compacted 448 T1 surface course asphalt. Seal joints. Bids shall be sealed and marked as "Panhandle Trail Repaving Project Bid". Bidders who submit a bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Issuing Office. Bids from Bidders who are not on the Plan Holders List may be returned as being non-responsive. Plan Holders are requested to provide an e-mail address if they wish to receive addenda and other information electronically. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its Bid Proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, along with other required documents as noted in the bid document. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Licking County as determined by The Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. This project must be completed no later than October 1, 2023. The Licking Park District Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Time is of the essence.
