As of October 19, 2023, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. Each bidder shall submit with bid, a bid bond in satisfactory form in favor of the County in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid or a certified or cashier check on a solvent bank in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. A performance bond may be required for the project. The bidder may provide a combination bid/performance bond, which is in statutory compliance with the Ohio Revised Code. Bidders are required to complete and submit with bid ALL forms that are included with the specifications packet. The Board of Butler County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the County as determined by the Board, and to hold bids valid for sixty (60) days from the bid date. Project Summary: Demolition and replacement of existing HVAC unit including associated sitework, ductwork, exterior masonry and other related work as shown on Sheet A100 Plans & Details. a. Demolition and removal of existing HVAC. Maintain existing ductwork to extent possible. b. Partial demolition of existing CMU site wall c. New site wall as shown & detailed d. New (expanded) exterior concrete pad as shown & detailed e. New Renewaire HVAC unit on factoert supplied curb as shown & specified f. New & reworked insulated ductwork as required for new HVAC unit configuration a. Size the new duct work to maintain the same CFM and static pressure b. Mechanical duct insulation to match the existing R-value I thickness and metal jacket c. All duct / insulation to maintain watertight conditions g. Site clean-up h. Startup services i. Air balancing
