REPAIR OF OFFICER'S QUARTERS TO INCLUDE: 1. Regrade around building to create positive slope. 2. Remove existing pecan tree and reconstruct missing porch column and masonry footing. 3. Reconstruct Southwest stone chimney. 4. Repoint/Reconstruct deteriorated stone perimeter wall and selected chimney hearths. 5. Install new structural piers, beams, and ceiling bracing panels wall framing and roof framing 6. Install new plywood structural bracing below ceiling joists in selected rooms. 7. Repair historic wood windows and exterior doors, provide new windows where noted to match historic. 8. Repair and replace deteriorated board and batten siding. 9.Repair interior plaster, trim/moulding and repaint. 10. Remove existing roofs, repair/replace sheathing and install new wood shingle roof. 11. Provide new lighting protection for building. BID ALTERNATE: 1. Replace missing/damaged canvas at second floor. All work shall be completed within two hundred seventy (270) calendar days, commencing on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. This performance period includes completing the various aspects required to complete the Work, including submission of all Submittals, mobilization, procurement, installation, testing, inspection All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied by bid bond, or certified check made payable to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total bid amount. A photocopy of the bid bond or certified check may be uploaded through the Bid Portal; however, the physical copy must be received by TPWD at its headquarters location by 12:00 pm (noon) of the second business day following the bid submittal deadline. TPWD reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process.
