**As of October 28, 2023, the project has not yet been awarded. The anticipated date for award is not yet determined. Citrus County, Florida ("County") invites interested parties to submit a Bid to provide complete construction of the County's Landfill Class I Phase 4A Expansion Project that consist of approximately 19.5 acres. The Work to be done consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment and the performance of all Work included in the Agreement. See attached Technical Specifications and Drawings for details. All work shall be performed in accordance with the construction plans, technical specifications, and contract documents. Minimum Requirements for Submitting a Bid Bidder shall meet, the following requirements in order to be determined a responsive and responsible Bidder at the time of Bid Submittal: 1. State of Florida Certified General Contractors License 2. The Bidder shall submit with the bid evidence that the Bidder, its subcontractors, and its personnel are experienced and competent to construct a Class I Landfill and related systems as described in the Technical Specifications and Drawings. 3. The Bidder shall submit at least two examples of landfill construction projects of similar design, size, scope, and complexity that have been completed by the Bidder within the last 7 years. The example projects shall demonstrate that the Bidder has direct experience performing the construction element (earthwork, liner work) or coordinating the work of subcontractor(s) performing the construction element during a project on which the Bidder was the Prime/General Contractor. For each example project, please provide: o Project name. o Project Manager's name with email and telephone number. o Project location. o Construction date. o Project write-up describing the project and its similarity to the design, size, scope, and complexity of this Project. The Bidder must have been the Prime Contractor for the project and shall identify the party/organization responsible for performing each element of the Construction element (earthwork, liner work) that was performed. This evidence shall demonstrate that the Bidder has experience to successfully complete the project in a timely manner and as required in the Bid Documents.
