DPS is requesting bids for the Parking Lot Upgrade project at the Hurst District Office. Services to Include: 1. This list is generic in nature for major items and intended only to give an overview of general project scope. (For this project, in general, the work includes, but is not limited to, the following items): 2. Propose Labor and material to Cut-Out all soft and/or bad areas of Asphalt. 3. Propose Labor and material to professionally and completely sweep and / or blow all loose material from the work surface. 4. Propose Labor and material to fill and compact all Cut-Out areas with proper asphalt paving Base; compacted to 98%.. 5. Seal Coat, per the attached Scope of Work the entire Parking surface where asphalt exists. 6. Properly Stripe the entire Parking Lot per the attached historic Site Plan, including all H/C areas, Fire lanes, etc. 7. Perform all work Off Hours, with proper supervision, avoiding any and all damages to nearby property. 8. Provide turnkey project as indicated on the drawings and as required for complete project Bonds will be required from Contractor before commencing any work as follows: A. For a contract in excess of $100,000.00 a performance bond will be executed in the amount of the contract conditioned upon the faithful performance of the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Said bond will be solely for the protection of the state. B. For a contract in excess of $25,000.00 a payment bond will be executed in the amount of the contract, solely for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and material. C. Any bids submitted will include the cost of any applicable bond. Costs will be included in the base Bid and will not be itemized separately.
