Residential Weatherization of single-story home. Weatherization of single-story home located in Lakewood, WA. This contract may not exceed $50,000, including all fees and taxes. We will not be hosting a pre-bid walk-through for this procurement. Please bid based on information provided. The start date of this procurement will be determined by program staff and the winning bidder. Projects are typically completed within 60-90 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed by program staff. Contractor shall pay the prevailing rate of wages to all workers, laborers, or mechanics employed in the performance of any part of the work in accordance with RCW 39.12 and the rules and regulations of the Department of Labor and Industries. The schedule of prevailing wage rates for the localities of the work is determined by the Industrial Statistician of the Department of Labor and Industries. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to verify the applicable prevailing wage rate. The Contractor has the right to refuse work only when the Contractor does not have the capacity to complete the work within the required seven (7) to twenty-one (21) calendar days per Notice to Proceed, or when the work cannot be satisfactorily completed due to health or safety concerns. The Contractor must notify the County in writing when work is refused. The County reserves the right to reissue refused work to another Contractor Question Deadline 09/06/2023 at 2:00 PM PT All invoices must include this prevailing wage statement: “Prevailing wages have been paid in accordance with the pre-filed statement or statements of intent to pay prevailing wages on file.”
