As of 8/18/2023 the Owner confirmed that no firms submitted a bid/proposal. Sealed bids for the construction of a 120'x60' uninsulated pole-construction storage building to be located upon on the south empty lot of the Nobles County Prairie Justice Center, Worthington, MN will be received at the Nobles County Administration Office, Government Center, 315 Tenth Street, Worthington, MN 56187. The project shall include all costs associated with the construction of this storage building. The site will be generally prepared through leveling and the installation of aggregate. Additional prep work may be required as part of this bid. Nobles County will arrange and coordinate electrical service to the building. The building generally sought would be of the following specifications: - Length = 120' - Width = 60' - Height = 14'4" -Truss Spacing = 8' - Roof Pitch = 4/12 - Peak Height = 25' - Soffit Height = 15' -Floor/4' Foundation = Concrete The building exterior will be constructed with .019 gauge ribbed steel and stainless steel screws. No overhang is required with the design. One 3'x6'8" walk-in hinged door with a keyed lockset will be installed on the north end of building and next to the overhead door. Two (2) 12'x12' overhead door openings with doors, 25 x 3-button transmitters, and photo eyes will be installed on both ends of this 120' long building and also are to be included within the bid. The work is to commence upon execution of a contract and is to be substantially complete by February 28, 2024. Bids are scheduled to be officially accepted during the August 22, 2023 Nobles County Board of Commissioners Meeting (9:00 a.m.).
