Bituminous Concrete Pavement Type I-1 Bituminous Concrete Handwork Bituminous Concrete Sidewalks, Ramps and Driveways Bituminous Concrete Curb Bituminous Concrete Berm Type-A ITEM 2 Cold Planing and Profiling of Bituminous Surfaces ITEM 3 Bituminous Concrete Pavement Reclamation ITEM 4 Manhole Casting Adjustment ITEM 5 Manhole and Catch Basin Frames & Covers and Gate Boxes Specifications and Bid Forms which must be used for the above items. The bid forms must be filled out and signed as directed therein sealed in an envelope with the name and address of the bidder, the title of the project and the Item Number. No bid will be considered which is not accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to "City of Methuen". These bid deposits will be returned within ten (10) days after the bid opening to all but the three low bidders, whose deposits will be returned upon execution of the contract. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract, his bid deposit will become the property of the City of Methuen. No proposal may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of bids. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding if it is deemed to be in the interest of the City to do so. Work includes bituminous concrete paving, cold planing, pavement reclamation, manhole casting adjustments.
