Airport Location: Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport This project provides for: This project provides for new heat tracing for storm water piping. There is plumbing pipe fittings and modifications, electrical power, connection to existing IMACS controllers, and other miscellaneous building modifications to facilitate the install of all the above. Each bid shall be accompanied by a "Bid Security" in the form of a certified check made payable to the MAC in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, or a surety bond in the same amount, running to the MAC, with the surety company thereon duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota. Such Bid Security to be a guarantee that the bidder will not, without the consent of the MAC, withdraw its bid for a period of (70) days after the opening of bids, and, if awarded the Contract, will enter into a contract with the MAC, and in connection therewith, give Performance and Payment Bonds The goal of the MAC for the utilization of Targeted Group Businesses on this project is 6%. as required by law and on forms furnished to the Contractor by the MAC. In the event the Bidder fails to enter into a Contract, the amount of the certified check will be retained or the bond enforced by the MAC. A current directory of Targeted Group Businesses by either company name, commodity, or SIC code can be accessed on the Internet at www.mmd.admin.state.mn.us.
