For furnishing materials and performing all necessary work for the construction of the project entitled "Champion Crossing 1st Addition Paving, Sanitary Sewer and Water Line Improvements - Abbott/Tiger Trail Project". The project is briefly described as follows: Removal of existing curb and gutter, grading, installation of public concrete paving, public sanitary sewer, public water line and sidewalk. Envelopes containing the bids shall be sealed and must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidders Bond in an amount of not less than five percent of the amount of bid. The check or bond shall be made payable to the City of Falls City, Falls City Nebraska, Nebraska as security the bidder(s) to whom the award are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. All work is to be guaranteed for a period of one year following final acceptance. Partial Payments will be made monthly on the basis of ninety percent of the amount of work done and materials supplied. Final payment will be made within thirty days after final acceptance of completed work. Each successful bidder shall supply a performance bond and a payment bond executed by a corporate surety licensed in the State of Nebraska in the amount of 100 Percent of the contract price as part of his contract. City of Falls City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids submitted and whose Bid is in the best interests of the Project.
