3.Submit all Descriptive Literature as requested under the ITB in the Scope of Services. Descriptive Literature, as used here, shall include, but not be limited to, design, materials, components, performance characteristics, methods of manufacture, assembly, construction, or operation of the goods and/or services requested under the ITB. 4. Bidders are encouraged to submit bids on recycled paper. 5. Bidders should be thorough in addressing the Specific Requirements and the Bid Submittal Requirements as outlined in this ITB. i. Modification of the bid price and/or ii. Modification of the Scope of Work/Specifications. 5. Any contract resulting from this ITB will be publicly posted for inspection in the Consolidated Procurement Division, 1 Franklin Street, Suite 345, Hampton, Virginia 23669. The purpose of the ITB is to solicit bids to establish a contract for the provision of OnCall Services for Traffic Signing Materials, Design and fabrication services as needed, provide various types of traffic control devices, sign posts, hardware and various types of pavement markers on an on as needed basis. A. Pre-made signs and sign face's shall be made utilizing 3M Diamond Grade DG3# series 4000 reflective sheeting B. Sign blanks shall be 2mm thick Alpolic 350 (.080) and .080 thick aluminum. C. Sign post and anchors shall be made from 12 & 14 gauge galvanized steel as specified. D. Banding strap, buckles and clamps shall be stainless steel. E. Sign film material shall be made from both Electrocut Graphic film. *The City reserves the right to award to multiple vendors. Surety or Bond coverage may be required to guarantee performance of work and payment to vendors and suppliers. A Fidelity Bond may be required to handle City funds or securities, and under certain other conditions. Specialty coverage may be needed for certain operations as outlined in the ITB.
