The successful bidder must comply with requirements set out in the contract documents including all Federally Required Contract Provisions including but not limited to the Buy American Preference, Foreign Trade Restrictions, Davis Bacon Requirements, Affirmative Action Requirements, Government wide Debarment and Suspension, Government wide Requirements for a Drug-free Workplace, and Non-Segregated Facilities Requirements. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The successful bidder shall commence work with adequate force and equipment on a date to be specified in a written order of the Owner and shall complete work within the time prescribed in the contract documents.
