Reference Number 0000326534 Scope of Work The contract work for this project shall consist of various items which include but are not limited to sawcutting, removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, reconstruction of a curb access ramp, removal and replacement of a 6" curb, and compaction of subgrade, per the processes and locations identified on the attached Appendix B, and the standard drawings in Appendix C. Job Location Various locations throughout the City Question Acceptance Deadline08/10/2023 at 12:00 PM PT Questions are submitted online Yes Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % Bonds -- Each Bid must be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, certified check or Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety insurer, made payable to the City and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid submitted. Upon Contract award, the Contractor shall provide Liquidated Damages --There will be a Five Hundred Dollar ($500.00) assessment for each working day that work remains incomplete beyond the time stated in the Proposal Form. Refer to the Proposal Form for specific details. Licenses -- Each Bidder shall possess a valid appropriate Contractor's license issued by the California State Contractors License Board at the time of the Bid submission, unless this Project has any federal funding, in which case the successful Bidder must possess such a license at the time of Contract award. The successful Contractor must also possess a current City business license. The Payment Bond and the Performance Bond shall be in a sum equal to the contract price. Ifthe Performance Bond provides for a one-year warranty a separate Maintenance Bond is not necessary. Ifthe warranty period specified in the contract is for longer than one year a Maintenance Bond equal to 10% of the contract price is required complete the work within Forty (40) working days from the Notice to Proceed.
