1. Qualified construction firms are invited to bid on the provision of construction services for washroom upgrades for accessibility at the Banff Child Care Centre located at 349 Big Horn Street, Banff, Alberta. 2. The project involves upgrading some existing washrooms to barrier-free accessible washrooms in the Banff Child Care Centre. Including but not limited to: the removal of the existing fixtures, equipment and finishes within the washrooms, installation of new finishes and services to accept new fixtures and equipment. 3. Renovation work on the washrooms will be done in two (2) phases to enable the Banff Child Care Centre remain operational during construction, and the successful bidder will be required to work with the Owner to develop a construction strategy that allows for continuous building operations during renovations. 4. All work to be completed within the stipulated weekday hours, evenings and weekends to allow for continuous operations. Actual on-site construction work will be limited to 10 weeks and as such a 6- week construction preparation period has been worked into the proposed construction schedule to allow for the completion of shop drawings and order longer lead time items.
