The Village of Kingston is requesting proposals to supply and install a new salt storage building The salt storage building will include site grading and foundation construction. 1. Foundation and walls constructed with required granular base, compaction, insulation, steel reinforcement, reinforced concrete, anchors installed in the foundation, and all else required to complete the work as indicated on the drawings. 2. Initial grading of the site such that the site is level to 15 feet from the building edges. 3. Coordination with BriteSpan building installer including erection of the BriteSpan fabric building. 4. Building doors, windows, and vents supplied and installed to operate as intended. 5. Coordination with electrical components supplied and installed by others. 6. Final grading of the site to ensure drainage away from the building as indicated on drawings. All work is to be completed in accordance with the National Building Code of Canada. The Village also reserves the right to waive the formality, informality, or technicality in any proposal.
