The District is seeking to replace existing older Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) infrastructure, including compressors and hoses that have been in operation for over 15 years. This bid is for the purchase of new compact duplex unit (featuring two compressors) to be installed by a separate Contractor on the existing concrete pad, as shown in the plan documents. Basis of design is Bauer CDL-CNG Duplex 220 or approved equal with dual 330 GGE (gallon of gas equivalent), 18,900 CFH (cubic feet per hour) service including 30 horsepower motors at 1750 RPM and a 460/3/60 electrical requirement.
