Clearing, Demolition, Grading, Concrete Pavement, Fencing and other misc. work associated with the development of a tennis court Each bid, over $25,000, must be accompanied by a certified check, a Cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Jennings, Missouri in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid as a guarantee that the contract will be entered into within five (5) days after the award is made. There will be no pre-bid meeting. Interested contractors shall direct any questions to: terraspec - Ken Keitel 341-616-0234 or 314-984-8211 The Contractor shall also include such provisions as will guarantee the faithful performance of the Prevailing Hourly Wage Law as provided by contract. No less than the state and federal prevailing wage shall be paid to all employees involved in the project. Thirty percent (30%) of all work on this project, as measured by percentage of the total dollar value of the contract, shall be performed by minority business enterprises (MBE), including a minimum ten percent (10%) of which shall be performed by women business enterprises (WBE). This project is tax exempt. A tax exemption letter will be made available to the successful bidder upon request. The right is reserved by the City of Jennings to reject any and all bids, including, without limitation, any and all bids considered by the City to be materially unbalanced, not responsive or otherwise irregular and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid and to award the bid in the best interest of the City.
