SCDMV is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to build and install custom counter barriers (sneeze guards) at 15 customer service representative workstations at the SCDMV Conway office. Question Deadline 08/10/2023 at 5:00 PM ET QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY ONLINE Questions shall be submitted via email to SEDONA.SCHUEHLE@SCDMV.NET with the subject line "5400025659 Questions." 1. Plexiglass Panes a) The pane will be acrylic no less than 3/8" thickness, 23"-36" by 32" high. b) When installed the pane will be flush with the top of the frame and will have a 4" pass through gap between the bottom of the pane and the countertop. c) The pane will have an Aluminum U channel border along all exposed edges to prevent injuries to employees or customers. d) The pane will include a circular aluminum no-draft speak through. The speak-thru will be no less than 5-5/16" in diameter and will be centered horizontally and vertically on the pane. e) There should be no gaps in between each counter. f) Any exposed plexiglass edges must be covered with an aluminum channel or protective strip to protect SCDMV employees and customers from potential injury. 2. 11 counters on one side in one line needing barriers along the front. a) Counters are approximately 60in each to include 11 speak through devices. This line of counters contains both clerk windows and the camera station. b) Cut outs needed in the glass for the six eye machines that are spread along the counters. c) Gaps are needed under the bottom for the credit card readers and signature pads at the camera stations. 3. Greeter Desk and the ADA desk. a) These counters are also approximately 60 inches. b) Gaps are needed under the bottom for the credit card readers and to pass paperwork back and forth to customers. c) Includes cut out for an eye machine. 4. Counters 12 and 13. a) These counters have a 36 in opening with a cutout out needed at counter 12 eye machine. b) Gaps are needed under the bottom for the credit card readers and to pass paperwork back and forth to customers. 5. Attachment A: Conway Measurements, Attachment B: Conway Layout, and Attachment C: Counter Barrier Drawings are provided as supplemental information for the Contractor but are not to be used in place of Contractor's own measurements. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
