Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's bond executed by the bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee, for the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid. In-lieu-of a bid bond a cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, made payable to the Owner, will be accepted. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Performance Bond in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price or other security as described in Tennessee Code Annotated 12-4-201, for 25% of the contract sum. Bonds must be accompanied by Power of Attorney. The information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following: Fentress county reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities therein. The contractor shall pay the owner the sum of &300.00 per day as liquidated damages. Time of completion : 120 calendar days A. The work included under these Specifications and the accompanying drawings consists of providing all items, articles, materials, operations or methods listed, mentioned or scheduled on the drawings and/or herein, including all labor, materials, services, equipment and incidentals for the construction of the Clarkrange High School Window Replacement Phase II, Clarkrange, Tennessee. In general, the work includes partial removal of existing flooring, and installation of new flooring, of various types. B. The Architect and Owner have attempted to identify all scopes of work; however, all incidental parts of the work may not be identified in the documents. All collateral or accompanying work required in order to accommodate work specifically shown in the documents shall be included in the Contractor's bid, and shall not be cause for issuance of change orders.
