The Ministry of Forests is looking to complete a wildfire risk reduction treatment adjacent to the community of Devine, north of Pemberton, within the Sea to Sky Natural Resource District, to meet specific wildfire behaviour objectives. The services required for this project include, but are not limited to, understorey thinning, removal of merchantable timber, tree pruning, surface fuel clean-up, and either pile and burning or removal of residual material off-site. This is a manual, non-mechanized treatment. The total gross area for the two treatment units is 26.7 hectares, with the net area for treatment being a total of 20.4 hectares, and all work, including the completion of pile burning, must be completed by March 15, 2024. The Province reserves the right in its sole discretion to to modify the terms of the RFP at any time prior to the Closing Date and Time, including the right to cancel the RFP at any time prior to entering into a Contract with a Proponent, to waive any non-material irregularity, defect or deficiency in a Proposal;
