The City of Roswell is extending an invitation to bid to Contractors who have been pre-qualified by the City to provide services associated with Stormwater Infrastructure. Additionally, GDOT Prequalified Contractors with relevant Work Class experience mentioned in the project documents are also encouraged to participate. These services are required for the construction of stormwater roadway enhancements. Intent to Bid Due Date: Aug 29th 2023, 1:30 PM EDT Questions Due Date: Aug 14th 2023, 5:00 PM EDT The project involves extending the existing asphalt limits to create operational and drive lanes for a new transfer station. The project encompasses two phases: Phase 1, involves tasks such as soil cement removal, grading, and soil improvements, as well as pavement construction. Phase 2, includes removing the temporary construction driveway and the necessary steps by the Contractor to complete the project. Liquidated Damages have been set at $2,000 per calendar day. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% is required. Payment and Performance bonds equal to 100% of the Awarded Contract value are required. The City reserves the right to reject any one or all bids. Any pre-bid conference for the Project, and its status as a mandatory or non-mandatory event, will be provided on, and held in accordance with the Project Schedule posted - if posted as an event. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend mandatory pre-bid conferences.
