The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct Lift Station No. 7 Improvements for First Colony Municipal Utility District No. 9 including but not limited to mobilization, bonds and insurance, the cleaning and application of 100% solids epoxy to the wet well walls and underside of top slab; the application of one-inch (1") of concrete repair mortar to all areas of the wet well walls and underside of top slab; demolition and replacement of all wet well and valve vault piping, fittings, valves, and supports, including wall penetrating spool pieces and protective coatings; installation of wet well safety grate; demolition and replacement of two (2) existing submersible pumps, including guiderails, base elbows, and supports; demolition of existing electrical service drop pole, electrical service rack, duct bank, control panel, control panel slab, and terminal boxes; installation of a minimum 45 kW natural gas generator with sound-attenuated weatherproof level 2 enclosure, natural gas line and meter, electrical service rack, automatic transfer switch, disconnects, meter, control panel, terminal boxes, floodlight, instrumentation, duct bank, conduit/wire, and miscellaneous electrical items; installation of generator and equipment concrete slabs, sound attenuating wall and piers; bypass pumping system during the entire duration of work; site restoration; and all else as shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for a fully functioning lift station. The bidder shall submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the State of Texas to two percent (2%) or a five percent bid bond of the minimum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or the bid bond payable to the Owner. Bidder must be capable of executing a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond for 100 percent (100%) of the contract sum in accord with the conditions of the contract In ample time to permit consideration before reply, submit questions about bidding instruments to the Engineer. All questions shall be submitted through electronically. Questions will not be answered after 12:00 P.M., two (2) calendar days prior to bidding The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities.
