The Village of La Grange is accepting proposals from qualified firms to implement a "turn-key" mobile parking LPR system for two (2) parking enforcement vehicles which will automate parking enforcement operations. The Village's primary goal for the selected system is to improve parking management efficiencies, resulting in overall better management of the Village's public parking inventory. The chosen system will also integrate with the Village's other existing software systems such as Passport Parking. The Village strongly desires the proposed solution to have the ability to integrate with commonly used ticketing programs and other commonly used software programs. The following are the desired core features that the Village desires in a Parking LPR System. The ideal system will include all of the desired features, though systems providing less than all of the desired features will also be considered. La Grange is located approximately 14 miles west of downtown Chicago and occupies a land area of approximately 2.5 square miles and has a population of 16,321. The Village is located in Cook County. Parking is in high demand due to a vibrant downtown business district, commuters utilizing the BNSF/Metra rail service, and a large high school campus just west of the downtown area. Questions must be submitted in writing by 4:00 p.m. on August 14, 2023. Submit responses and questions to: Ken Uher Deputy Chief of Police 304 W.
