The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) requires the professional services of qualified engineering firms to provide open-ended planning, engineering and technical services including project management consulting services as necessary to MDOT MTA, to accomplish MDOT MTA's stewardship role and provide oversight and technical assistance. DBE Participation (%) 25.0 Project Cost Class H - Over $15,000,000 All questions concerning submissions and procedures must be submitted by email to rmcculley1@mta.maryland.gov no later than 12:00 noon on July 28, 2023. The MDOT MTA number must be referenced in the email subject line. Problems submitting emails shall be reported to MDOT MTA's Office of Procurement, telephone number 410-767-3354. Consultants shall have the ability to provide background investigation results for Consultant personnel assigned to work on MDOT MTA projects. MDOT MTA, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 200d to 200d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for any award. DBE firms are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. All Prime contractors must be registered and "in good standing" with the Maryland State Department of Assessments (SDAT) and Taxation and System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submittal. Subcontractors must also be registered with SDAT and in good standing. It is strongly recommended that any potential Offeror complete registration prior to the proposal due date and time or submittal. The offeror's failure to complete registration with SDAT may not be considered for the Project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
