7th Ward Park Project - Includes milling and paving of basketball court and adjacent play surface, along with fence improvements and tree removal. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the City Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to City of Washington. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the 7th Ward Park Project project. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by the City of Washington for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to final award. The bid envelope must be clearly marked 7th Ward Park Project. City of Washington reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof.
