All bids rejected by owner The Work generally consists of all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the rehabilitation of the existing water treatment facility at 31 3rd Avenue NE in Pocahontas, IA. The Work includes the installation of a new reverse osmosis (RO) treatment system, a new 30,000-gallon clearwell, two (2) vertical turbine style filter feed pumps, two (2) vertical multistage high service pumps, new chemical feed building addition, liquid chemical feed systems, process piping and valves, site piping and appurtenances, power and controls equipment, HVAC improvements, and plumbing upgrades. The Work also consists of demolition of the existing softening system including removal of pressure vessels, brine tank and associated piping. The RO system shall be supplied by the contractor and be designed for groundwater potable use. The system shall include membrane pressure vessels, membranes, pumps, cartridge filter, bag filter, instrumentation, controls, clean-in-place system including water tank and skid mounted cleaning system, and other appurtenances required for a complete and operational system.
