Prequalification Of General Contractors, Mechanical, Electrical And Linear Subcontractors For The Northeast Vaughan Water Servicing Project Vaughan Pumping Station Teston Road, Vaughan Pumping Station Jane Street And South Feedermains, Yorknet Fiber Conduit South. The Regional Municipality of York (the Region) intends to procure the deliverables described in Section A of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the Deliverables). This Request for Prequalification (RFPQ) is an invitation by the Region to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide the Deliverables in the role of the General Contractors, Mechanical, Electrical and Linear Subcontractors. For complete bid details, refer to the RFPQ documents. The Deliverables subject to this RFPQ is the construction of two new water pumping stations, new associated watermains, a new YorkNet Fiber Conduit (as shown in Figure 1), and the construction of a line valve chamber on the existing 1800mm diameter York-Peel Feedermain near the intersection of Jane Street and Teston Road in the City of Vaughan The Deliverables will include the conventional connection to the existing 1800mm dia. York-Peel Feedermain; a cast in place concrete valve chamber including two 1500mm dia. and one 900mm dia. butterfly valves, the construction of approximately 500m of 900mm dia. C-301 CPP piping from the York-Peel Feedermain Connection to Vaughan Pumping Station Teston Road (VNPSTR), construction of VNPSTR, approximately 2700m of 600mm dia. C-301 CPP piping from VNPSTR to Vaughan Elevated Tank Jane Street (VNETJS), construction of Vaughan Pumping Station Jane Street (VNPSJS), and installation of approximately 8300m of new YorkNet Fiber Optic Conduit along Jane Street.
