Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen or District) is pleased to announce the opportunity for a full-service design team, led by a Landscape Architect or Civil Engineer, to provide professional design and engineering services for a new parking area, pedestrian crossings, and connector trails. The parking area will serve the proposed Purisima-to-the-Sea Trail that will provide east-west connections from Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve (Preserve) to the San Mateo County coast, linking the Bay Area Ridge Trail along the Skyline corridor with the California Coastal Trail along the San Mateo coast. The Purisima-to-the-Sea Trail is a separate design and engineering project, not included in this solicitation.
