Contractor shall complete annual maintenance on nine (9) chillers throughout the County of San Mateo's facilities for a period of three (3) years. This shall also include inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs to all chillers listed on the attached inventory sheet. All work shall be performed by California Licensed Contractors. Contractor shall include rates for normal operating hours, after-hours, weekend and holiday hours. Work will be performed during normal working hours (M-F: 7:30AM-4:00PM) unless otherwise agreed. This is a prevailing wage project. Contractor shall perform one annual service, for each chiller on the inventory sheet, for each year of the agreement. Details are listed below Subject to compliance with all terms and conditions, the term of this Agreement shall be from November 1, 2023, through October 31, 2026. Submission to County Board for approval October 17 , 2023 Anticipated Contract Award Date August 28, 2023 Submit proposals as directed below. (1) Hard copy submissions (a) Hard copy submissions are requested, submit proposals with all required documents in a sealed package to the designated County Mailing Address. Within the package, submit the Technical Proposal and the Price Proposal in separate envelopes. Clearly mark the following information on the outside of the package: o Proposer Name o Return address o Solicitation title o Solicitation number (b) Submit proposals and all required documentation so as to physically reach the designated address by the Due Date and Time. (2) Hand-written responses, whether or not submitted electronically, will be rejected, with the exception that signatures may be hand-written. Proposals may be withdrawn, modified, or replaced at any time prior to the Due Date and Time. After that time, whether or not a new solicitation is issued for the same subject matter, withdrawal of a proposal may preclude the proposer from participating in the procurement as a proposer or subcontractor, except that an original equipment manufacturer may participate indirectly through a reseller. The Performance Bond shall be in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the value for each year of the Agreement term. The bonds shall be in accordance with the laws of the State of California to secure payment of any and all claims for labor and material used or consumed in performance of this Agreement. A three (3) year Agreement, costing $50,000/year, would require a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent (100%) or $50,000 for the first year and for each additional year of the Agreement. Contractor bears responsibility to obtain any license, permit, or approval required from any agency for work/services to be performed under this Agreement at Contractor's own expense prior to commencement of said work/services. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of any right to compensation under this Agreement. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
