127EAW23R0057 - GAOA Dru Barner CG Improvements El Dorado National Forest FAR 32.204 Disclosure of Magnitude of the Construction Project: Between $250,000 and $500,000 Set Aside: Total Small Business Set Aside IMPORTANT NOTES: See Section L, Paragraph L.2 for the Documents to Submit with Your Proposal All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Greg Cunningham, on the attached RFI form not later than 1300 hours PST, August 16th, 2022. A FS organized pre-proposal site visit will NOT be held. The project locations are open to the public and can be viewed by each prospective offeror. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. C.1 SCOPE OF CONTRACT: The Eldorado National Forest proposes improvements to the Dru Barner Campground water system and access road. This project will replace the submersible pump in the vertical groundwater well at Dru Barner Campground, install a pole-mounted solar panel power system, install a security fence around the solar panels, clean the well, install power and control wiring, and install a water meter, iron filter system, booster pump, hydropneumatic tank, check valve, and a prefabricated building. Road improvements include roadbed reconditioning of the main loop road, placement of aggregate base in select areas, construction of rolling dip and rocked swale. Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, equipment, documentation, communication, notifications, and transportation as required to furnish and install the improvements described herein, as shown on the Project Plans, and as otherwise required by the Contract. All demolition, disposal, construction, and improvements described herein and as shown on the Project Plans are the responsibility of the Contractor. See attachment "1. Statement of Work" for further details. C.2 PROJECT LOCATON The Dru Barner Campground is located roughly 7 miles from Georgetown, California at 38_56'31" N, 120_45'57" W and an elevation of 3339 feet. From Georgetown drive northeast for 6 miles on Main Street/Wentworth Springs Road. Take a left on Bottle Hill Bypass Road, travel 1 mile, and then a left on Bottle Hill Road. Continue approximately 0.3 miles. The entrance to Dru Barner Campground is on the left. C.3 ESTIMATED START DATE / PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (PoP) The estimated start date for this project is September 25th, 2023 with a 70 calendar day period of performance (PoP) after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
