Franklin County seeks a bidder to purchase 6 Propane tanks. (4) 1850 Gal tanks from the Sheriff Dept. with Approximately 3600 Gals of propane combined. Also (2) 1000 gal tanks at the DSS location that are empty. Question Deadline Formal requests for clarification or questions regarding the terms of this bid should be directed in writing to Joel Perry, Assistant Purchasing Agent at joel.perry@ffranklincountyny.gov or by fax to (518) 483-0141. Any information given to a Bidder in response to a formal request will be furnished to all Bidders as an addendum to this solicitation, if such information is deemed necessary for the preparation of the bid, or if the lack of such information would be detrimental to the submission of uniform bids. The addendum(s) will be sent via email or fax to all prospective bidders who have received the bid documents and these amendments will be binding on them. Addenda will also be posted on the County website electronically . If you didn't obtain your bid documents from the purchasing department directly, it is your responsibility to check the website periodically for any updated information. Only such addenda when issued by the County Purchasing Department will be considered as being binding on the County. Verbal explanations or instructions given by a County employee to a Bidder in regard to this solicitation shall not be binding on the County, and shall be considered informal unless confirmed in writing by the Purchasing Department. The County will issue no response to any request for clarification received within five (5) days of the proposal due date. Pictures are included for reference to give an example, but they may not give a complete or accurate accounting of the items available.. Franklin County is not guaranteeing the 100% accuracy of this data and is providing this information to the best of our knowledge, but it is not guaranteed. Bidder must be 18 years of age or older. County employees may not submit a bid. By bidding, you acknowledge acceptance of these terms and conditions whether present during the actual reading or not. Bids must be completely and properly executed on the forms provided, and may be delivered personally, or by mail, before the time, or at the time specified for public opening and reading. No late bids will be accepted. Franklin County reserves the right to reject any/all proposals, in whole or in part, to grant awards, to waive minor defects and/or to cancel the award at any time the foregoing conditions are not complied with, or for any good and sufficient reason, if deemed in the best interest of the County to do so.
