The Grant County Highway Commission will receive sealed Bids for a 2023 County Highway Improvement Project The work for which the bids are asked includes the following: The work under this contract shall consist of structure B-22-0297 and any incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. Estimate of Principal Items: Backfill Structure, 840 Ton; Base Aggregate Dense, 900 Ton; Breaker Run, 950 Ton; Concrete Masonry Bridges, 266.2 CY; Bar Steel Reinforcement, 5,560 Lbs; Bar Steel Reinforcement Coated, 24,300 Lbs; Piling Steel, 660 LF 10-Inch; Riprap Heavy, 180 C.Y.; Beam Guard, 152 LF; Beam Guard Energy Absorbing Terminals, 4 Each. Any questions may be directed to the Engineer; Mr. Travis J. Kramer, P.E., Grant County Highway Commission, (608) 723-2595. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by the Proposal Agreement fully executed by the bidder. The bidder that is awarded the contract agrees to execute the contract agreement and payment and performance bond within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award, begin work no later than ten (10) days after written Notice to Proceed, and complete all work included under the terms of the contract in the allotted time The Grant County Highway Commission reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all Bids. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sections 66.29, and 66.293, Wisconsin Statutes.
