The project generally consists of adding approximately 2,000 square feet of a concrete walkway in the City of Fairview, Oregon. Accompanied by a 10% bid security in favor of the City of Fairview. Each bidder must indicate in the space provided on the Bid Form, whether they are a Resident or Non-Resident Bidder pursuant to ORS 279A.120 The Contractor shall commence no work under this contract until the Contractor and every subcontractor has a public works bond filed with the Construction Board in accordance with ORS 279C.830 and all other bonding and insurance requirements have been met and a Notice to Proceed has been issued. Contractors need not be licensed for asbestos handling per ORS 468A.720 to complete this project. The City of Fairview will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low bidder prior to awarding the contract. In accordance with ORS 279B.100 The City reserves the right to cancel this procurement or reject any or all bids not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, may reject for good cause any and all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so and may waive all informalities For more information regarding this project, contact Allan Berry, Public Works Director at 503-665-9320
