The contract will include grading, excavation, sand fill/subbase preparation, new aggregate base installation and bituminous asphalt pavement from a new highway approach entrance to a new cul-de-sac inland; all located at the current IRESA Building Trades site. The total length of the project is approximately 1125 LF. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, however it is intended to make award of a firm, fixed-price contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based upon the rules outlined in the Bid Form. Construction is intended to commence following project award in August. The project must be completed within 60 days and no later than November 14, 2023 when bituminous asphalt plants typically shut down for the season. No liquidated damages will be assessed. No construction estimate has been calculated.
