Qualified engineering consultants to conduct a comprehensive condition assessment of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and all its associated assets located at 16 Lahave Street, Bridgewater, NS The condition assessment includes a complete life cycle assessment of all building components, including structure, process components and treatment process to build up a model that can be used to predict costs for future budget projections which is considered Phase I of the assessment. Phase II of the assessment is a complete review of all the current Pump Stations (PS), WWTP and collection system capacities in conjunction with the constraints within the system, challenges to meet the needs of current development proposals and ensure compliance with Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME) requirements and Provincial Wastewater Facility Operating permit. The consultant will also review the proposed 10-year capital projects to ensure they best achieve the goals for the upcoming 10 years and provide any additional or more beneficial projects required to best achieve the objectives. Solutions should provide the most economical rehabilitation plan to meet CCME guidelines while allowing for continued development growth throughout the Town.
