The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the St. Johns Avenue Reconstruction/Resurfacing. The work shall consist of milling and resurfacing, base work, shoulder treatment, drainage improvements, curb and gutters, highway signing, sidewalks, and other incidental construction on St. Johns Avenue. This bid requires that the Prime Contractor must be pre-qualified by the Florida Department of Transportation. Pre-qualification work classes shall be: Drainage, Flexible Paving, and Grading. Question Deadline:08/18/2023 at 2:00 PM ET Tentative Contract Term: September 26, 2023 - September 4, 2024 Project Completion Date September 4, 2024 (330 Calendar Days from Receipt of Notice to Proceed) Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the COUNTY for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. PERFORMANCE BOND in the amount of 100% of the CONTRACT PRICE, from a corporate surety approved by the COUNTY will be required. PAYMENT BOND in the amount of 100% of the CONTRACT PRICE, from a corporate surety approved by the COUNTY will be required. The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
