Reference Number 0000253112 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/08/16 05:00:00 PM EDT This project is to secure a consulting engineer capable of assisting UW with design, tender, and construction review and contract administration for installing new meters to several buildings on campus. Please refer to the RFP documents for more information. In January 2023, the University of Waterloo prepared and RFP to engage a vendor to develop a new metering software for the campus. The project, awarded to Ainsworth in March, 2022, consisted of development of the software and the integration of the meters located at E5 and E7. In 2022-2023, we engaged a consultant to complete the design for Phase 1 & 2, with construction of Phase 1 (buildings DC and QNC) currently underway and phase 2 (buildings EV1, EV2, EV3, and MC) currently out for tender. As part of the push for increased sustainability on campus, we are working to accelerate this by bringing more buildings online in the short term.
