The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the installation of approximately 340 linear feet of 6-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) water main, valves, fittings, services concrete sidewalk replacement, concrete driveway replacement, asphalt replacement, and all necessary appurtenances complete, in place, and ready for service in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared therefor by Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc. Deadline to Submit Questions August 11, 2023, Issue Addendum (if necessary) August 16, 2023. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's check or Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Performance and Payment Bonds on the prescribed forms each in an amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the accepted Bid, as security for the faithful performance of his Contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection therewith. No verbal interpretations will be made of any documents. Requests for such interpretations shall be made in writing or via email at Purchasing@jaxbchfl.net no later than August 11, 2023. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid and to readvertise for bids. The project is located in Jacksonville Beach. The CONTRACTOR shall receive and accept the compensation provided in the Proposal and the Contract as full payment for furnishing all materials, labor, tools and equipment, for performing all operations necessary to complete the work under the Contract, and also in full payment for all loss or damages arising from the nature of the work, or from any discrepancy between the actual quantities of work and quantities herein estimated by the Engineer, or from the action of the elements or from any unforeseen difficulties which may be encountered during the prosecution of the work until the final acceptance by the CITY.
