This is a "Term" bid to be used beginning contract approval date through June 30, 2024 with the option to renew in one year increments not to exceed a total of seven (7) consecutive years. Quantities listed are estimated and may be "MORE or LESS" and ordered on an "AS NEEDED" basis. All prices must remain firm for each period of the Contract. General Description of Needs: Lawn Services - Athletic Fields, Campus Weed Control and Fertilization Contract Period: Contract Award through June 30, 2024 The successful Contractor will furnish all labor, fuel, equipment and plant necessary to do weed control and fertilization. All areas are Bermuda sod and must have a full season lawn care maintenance which consist of weed control and fertilization. These areas must have a minimum of five (5) treatments including: Two (2) pre-emergent applications, February and March Three (3) post-emergent applications, February, June and October Five (5) fertilizer applications, slow release from February through October Spot-spray applications for weed control as needed. The University of Central Arkansas reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of a bid or any and all bids, to waive any informalities and minor technicalities and to award the bid to best serve the interest of the University and State of Arkansas. This Invitation for Bid does not in any way commit UCA to contract for the commodities/services listed herein. Bids must be submitted to the Purchasing Department on this form with attachments, when appropriate, on or before the date and time specified for the bid opening. If this form is not used, the bid may be rejected.
