Question Acceptance Deadline 08/08/2023 04:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No Project will be awarded to lowest responsive bidder, based on the base bid plus alternates, in the order in which they appear on the bid sheet, which total within the budgeted amount for the project, on or about September 6, 2023, and the construction shall be substantially complete by November 1, 2024. Prevailing Wage: New York State Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Request for Bid. PRC No. 2023008665. A bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, bank cashier/teller/treasurer's check, payable to the County of Otsego, or cash, in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance surety bond issued by a bonding company authorized to do business in New York State in the amount of 100% of the total amount of the contract as a guarantee for the faithful performance thereof. Cash, irrevocable letter of credit, or certified check, payable to the County of Otsego, are the only acceptable alternate forms of performance guarantees in lieu of a performance bond. Otsego County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
