All questions related to this IFB must be directed to the attention of Carolyn Riggs, Purchasing Supervisor, 100 Third Street, Suite 130, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104, 303-660-7434, criggs@douglas.co.us. All questions must be in writing and responses will be shared with all potential respondents, as appropriate. The Douglas County Clerk of the Court's office suite located within the Douglas County Justice Center must be remodeled. This project consists of remodeling the current public counter space and Clerk of the Court office into increased public counter space, additional office space, and an open office area. Affecting approximately 1,550 square feet of existing space. The project will include, but not be limited to, demolishing portions of the existing building, creating new office spaces, and creating a new public service line. Full-height gypsum wallboard partition walls and new office finishes are required throughout. As a part of this project, the new counter space, office space, and open office area will receive floor leveling and new floor finishes, including carpet tile along with a new carpet base, and the walls will be painted. The electrical, lighting, and HVAC will also be modified as required to support the new floor plan configuration. This office suite will be partially occupied during construction. The contractor shall account for, protect, and preserve the working environment for the adjacent County employees during the scope of the work. The County will remove furniture, artwork, electronics, and non-attached furnishings as required to assist during construction
