The project is located in the rear and side yards of 4424 and 4432 Forest Hill Rd and along Forest Hill Rd. A study was performed to determine what improvements could be done in order to manage rear yard and roadway flooding at the project location. The work will include construction contract plans to correspond with the study and/or evaluate and design a possible storm water storage area. The project is located in the rear yard of 2424 Norton Rd to store and minimize velocity for storm water before being released in the city storm water system. The City and resident has agreed on a 50-year storm event proposal that includes a rear yard embankment, excavation of a detention basin, and storm sewer re-alignment. Construction plans are to be made to correspond with the 50- year storm event preliminary design that has already been completed.
